Human Success Business Partner (HRBP)

We’re looking for a  Human Success Business Partner who cares deeply about how people grow, how (especially) technical and product teams work, and how leaders create the conditions for success. You’ll be a trusted sparring partner for our leaders — curious, honest, practical — and you’ll help them navigate the real moments that shape people’s experience. You’ll work closely with Freddy (our CTO), Andy (our CPO) and our Product and Engineering teams where great things are being build with AI. Your role is to bring clarity to complexity, support people through change, and strengthen teams through everyday leadership all while keeping things grounded, simple, and human.

What You’ll Do

• Partner directly with leaders as their go‑to thought partner on people, leadership, and team topics.

• Help leaders navigate complexity with clarity and empathy: role expectations, capability gaps, team dynamics, performance, hiring decisions, growth planning and AI impact.

• Turn people data and context into clear insight — no unnecessary complexity, just practical Human Success guidance.

• Raise the bar for onboarding, development planning, success conversations, and organisational development.

• Play a key role in change initiatives, helping leaders and teams adapt with confidence and alignment.

• Contribute to projects that elevate how we work, from simplifying processes to strengthening our use of AI in our Human Success team (HR).

• Collaborate with Recruiting, People Ops, and leaders across Zensai to provide a consistent, human‑centred experience.

What You’ll Bring

• You’ve previously partnered closely with Engineering, Product, or other technical teams and understand the dynamics of highly skilled, specialist populations.

• Strong coaching skills — able to challenge with kindness, listen deeply, and hold leaders accountable to good leadership.

• A practical, human‑centred approach: clear answers over complicated frameworks.

• Comfort with ambiguity and change — you act with purpose even without perfect information.

• Experience supporting learning & development efforts — whether that’s helping leaders grow, identifying capability gaps, or working with simple development tools that actually get used.

• Curiosity and practical experience using or implementing AI tools in HR.

What success looks like in this role

• In your first few months, your coaching helps at least two managers in Freddy’s organisation grow in confidence and leadership skill through real situations you support.

• As you settle in, you move at least three complex people or team situations forward — not just closing them, but handling them in a way that both leaders and employees describe as fair, calm, and clear.

• By around six months, you’ve spotted one recurring team or process issue in Engineering/IT and helped the organisation fix it in a simple and sustainable way with visible impact.

• Over time, the teams you support show a clear improvement in engagement sentiment, especially in how they experience leadership, clarity, and trust — influenced directly by your partnering.
