Tell me about the role.

The Inbound Sales Development Representative is a key member of the Revenue Operations team at Zensai, with having a direct reporting line with the Director of Global Sales Development as well as having a dotted line directly to the US regions, requiring close collaboration with our tightly knit Sales Teams. The Inbound SDR is responsible for qualifying all Inbound leads with the goal of generating Sales Qualified Opportunities into the sales pipeline. This includes managing high-intent MQLs such as demo requests, to lower intent leads, such as attending a webinar or nurturing leads where they may have visited our website.

With training and guidance, you will begin responding to inbound requests and nurturing pipeline using our sales tech stack, including Salesloft and Zoominfo. You will be a true advocate for customer experience, practicing active listening to best understand customer challenges and goals and qualifying leads using B.A.N.T methodology before scheduling a Discovery call with the region specific Business Manager. Once you are fully onboarded, your role will also expand to include contributing to local marketing activities, such as virtual and physical events, as well as building proactive nurture campaigns to target older leads or partnering with Sales on key initiatives.

A day in the life of a Sales Development Representative.

You begin your day as a Sales Development Representative by grabbing a cup of your preferred morning beverage and looking over the inbound sales requests for the US and Canada regions ready to contact with the aim of booking a meeting/demo for Sales. You will have access to a world-class sales tech-stack, using a combination of Sales Loft, Zoominfo and Microsoft Dynamics/Teams. On your screen calls, you listen to the prospective customer as they list their key challenges and business prioirties and begin qualifying the inbound lead to understand if Zensai would be a good fit for their needs. You’re provided with a mind map of questions using the B.A.N.T qualification process, to help qualify as a Sales Accepted Lead before scheduling a “Discovery call” with your relevant Sales Exec.

In the afternoon, you will participate alongside other SDRs, Sales Executives, and Business Managers and attend any relevant meetings with the Marketing team to go over any upcoming campaigns, webinars, and plan supporting activities in the region to provide value.

You may then take some time to re-engage older leads, using Zoominfo to craft an effective email campaign and LinkedIn messages to proactively reach out to these contacts and generate any opportunities for your regions or perhaps partner with Sales/Customer Success on any upsell/cross-sell opportunities to strategically expand the accounts.

You will receive weekly 1:1s tied to key objectives and development plan as well as weekly coaching either individually or as a team as well as regular SDR enablement sessions.
